Teenager Tomas Hertl had a big game for the San Jose Sharks last night against the New York Rangers. He scored four gals, and the fourth was an absolutely incredible shot.

He was the first teenager to do the feet since Jimmy Carson’s four-goal game in 1988, of course I don’t remember him going between the legs. And I was four.

Nevertheless, the Sharks were crushing the Rangers when Hertl went for his fourth goal of the night. He got the puck along the boards and cut into the middle and as he went in front of the goal, and tender Martin Biron, he went between his legs with a backhand shot to score. It is absolutely incredible.

The fact that he is a teenager, and his last name sounds a lot like turtle, has given him a pretty cool nickname.
