Good news for fans of the new series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ABC announced today that they have ordered a full season of the new Marvel superhero series helmed by veteran Joss Whedon.
For those of you who haven’t been watching, the series surround S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson and his team as they travel around the world in search of the strange and dangerous items, and sometimes people, that would threaten the safety of our world.
That team consists of Agent Grant Ward, played by Brett Dalton, Agent Melinda May, who is being portrayed by Ming-Na Wen, Fitzsimmons, also known as Leo Fitz and Gemma Simmons, played by Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge respectively, and newly minted field agent Skye, played by Chloe Bennet.
The series has continued to pull in excellent ratings, despite the drop in viewers since it’s Series Premiere.
Like any good superhero series, for as many questions as they successfully answer, two more pop up. One of the big ones is what really happened to Agent Coulson when he “died” and what are they hiding from him that “he can never know”?
Also, what is Skye really up to? Just when we thought that she was adapting as a member of the team, she gets a mysterious text message from The Rising Tide. Really? Why must you toy with us like this?
