The New England Patriots are fresh off their first loss of the season to the Cincinnati Bengals. It was one of Tom Brady’s worst performances in his career and he’ll be looking to bounce back against the New Orleans Saints. The obstacle is the Saints pass defense, which is 12th best in the league according to ESPN giving up only 221.8 yards per game.

The New Orleans Saints are 5-0 and looking win this one before heading into the bye week, but winning on the road in New England isn’t easy.

The Patriots had an incredible run to start the season but they’re facing a quality opponent this week with an offensive juggernaut. The Patriots 4 wins came against teams with a combined record of 6-14. The Patriots are also riddle with injuries, they’ve lost defensive tackle Vince Wilfork for the season and defensive tackle Tommy Kelly is battling a knee injury as well.

Not to mention they’re still waiting on Rob Gronkowski. He is expected to play Sunday, but he’ll likely have a minimum impact as he gets comfortable.

Prediction:

Saints-      27

Patriots-  23
