The New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers couldn’t be any different through the first five weeks of the season. New York has been one of the bigger pleasant surprises in the league, while the Steelers have been an utter disappoint as they emerge from last weekend’s bye week still in search of their first win of the season.

While Steelers were at home resting up and trying to figure out how they got to this point, the Jets were busy in the Georgia Dome completing the upset of the Atlanta Falcons.

The key to this game is whether or now the Pittsburgh defense will be able to force their first turnover of the year. With their current turnover differential, it is no surprise that the team has yet to find a win. Luckily, they face rookie quarterback Geno Smith, who Dick LeBeau should be able to confuse with his different defensive looks up front.

This is one of those games where it truly comes down to the turnover battle.

The Steelers are the better team on paper based on pure talent, but they will need to start their season’s turnaround now if they want any chance at sneaking in to the postseason.
