Although Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said that top wide receiver Andre Johnson would be a game-time decision for their Week 6 matchup against the St. Louis Rams, Johnson himself is signing a different tune.

Johnson told John McClain that he will play against the Rams, suggesting that he feels better than he did last week:

"Andre Johnson says he will play against Rams.Andre Johnson said he feels better this week than last week (bruised shin)."

The elite wideout also said that he has no issues with Matt Schaub starting at quarterback, suggesting that he doesn’t ‘have a doubt’ about his signal caller.

Johnson has been essentially hit-or-miss this season, posting two games with over 100 yards receiving while also posting two games where he didn’t even eclipse 40 yards.

That said, assuming he’s healthy (as he says), Johnson and the Texans should get back on track this weekend in a tasty matchup against the sub-par Rams secondary. Another dud from the team and it’s very likely Johnson will have a new quarterback throwing to him come Week 7.
