It looks as though the Detroit Lions won’t know the availability of Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson won’t be determined until gameday once again:

Johnson missed the fifth game of his career Sunday, a 22-9 road loss to the Green Bay Packers. He attempted to test the knee before the game and afterward said he was close but couldn’t end up making the call to play.

And this report comes from USA Today Sports:

"Johnson took part sparingly in practice, working in position drills and on his footwork, but he did not run routes and did not join the first-team offense during an installation period at the start of practice.Lions coach Jim Schwartz said for the second straight day that Johnson’s availability this week probably won’t be determined until Sunday morning."

Oh, and don’t ask Scwartz about how this is affecting many people’s fantasy football team:

"“I don’t play fantasy football,” Schwartz said. “We deal in reality. Honestly, you have to be prepared for all those things.”"
