Miami Heat's Michael Beasley needs medical attention after punching self in head (Video)

Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley made his preseason debut on Thursday night and although he only played nine minutes, it was far from uneventful.

The former Kansas State product who was drafted by the Heat second overall in 2008 is back for his second stint in South Beach, the Heat hoping Beasley had matured with age.

So far, they’re probably not impressed.

Late in the game, Beasley was called for traveling, a call that didn’t sit well with the forward as he began to punch himself in the head.

It certainly didn’t look that bad when the camera picked it up, but then again, blows to the head aren’t exactly positive things and who knows what Beasley did once the cameras were off him or once he got into the locker room because according to Joe Goodman, the Miami Heat medical staff was called to treat Beasley after the game:

By the way, Beasley punched himself in the head so hard tonight that he needed treatment after the game.

Yikes.
