Michigan Wolverines offensive tackle Taylor Lewan is a giant, scary dude. However, the All-American has a humorous side off the field, a less-serious demeanor evidenced by his, amongst other things, passion for pigs.
In an interview with ESPN’s Big Ten blogger Chantel Jennings on Friday, Lewan shared his (perhaps unexpected) cinematic tastes:
CJ: Earlier this season you referenced the movie “P.S. I Love You”. Have you actually seen it?
TL: I have, I have. Honestly, “Crazy, Stupid, Love” is a great movie to me. If I were to [make that] reference again, I’d probably go with that. I’ve seen that movie like six times. “P.S. I Love You”, that’s too much emotion for me. But Ryan Gosling is the man. “Crazy, Stupid, Love” is my jam.
While I can’t exactly say I was personally enamored with Crazy, Stupid, Love, I think Lewan deserves major props for referencing a Ryan Gosling movie besides Drive. So kudos to you, Lewan. Stay awesome.
