NLCS Game 1 lineup: Los Angeles Dodgers at St. Louis Cardinals

For the third time in nine years, the Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals will meet in the postseason. The two clubs met up during the 2004 Divisional Round with the Dodgers losing in four games while another meeting took place in the 2009 Divisional Round with Los Angeles paying back the favor, beating St. Louis in a three game sweep.

The two franchises will look for retribution tonight as they open Game 1 of the 2013 National League Championship Series.

As far as the lineups, there’s little surprise outside of the Dodgers’ addition of outfielder Andre Ethier who after missing the last month will make the start. Ethier took part in drills Wednesday afternoon at Dodger Stadium and hinted he’d be available to play come Game 1.
