No. 14 South Carolina Gamecocks lead Arkansas Razorbacks 24-7 at the half

The No. 14 South Carolina Jadeveon Clowneys Gamecocks lead the Arkansas Razorbacks 24-7 at the half. Quarterback Connor Shaw is having a strong game for South Carolina. He’s completed 15 of his 24 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns, including a 4-yard TD pass to Bruce Ellington with only 13 seconds remaining in the half.

Though you shouldn’t count them out, it’ll be hard for the Razorbacks to fight their way back into the game. Arkansas is a paltry 111th in the country in passing offense, and they aren’t exactly a team built to score points in a hurry. Their multiple running back rushing attack (woohoo, rhyme!), which went into today averaging 216.0 yards per game, hasn’t been able to get much done against the South Carolina defense. Freshman Alex Collins scored a touchdown to start the game, but the team hasn’t had much success after that initial score.

Oh, and Jadeveon Clowney is on the field for the Gamecocks, so stay tuned for all the press-stopping reports about his actions. Did he sneeze at some point? Is he drinking water with enough effort? These things matter!
