Jadeveon Clowney will start; did travel with team

There were some faulty reports passed along on Saturday morning. On  ESPN’s College GameDay, the crew reported that South Carolina Gamecocks star Jadeveon Clowney had not traveled with the Gamecocks on their team bus, but those reports were simply false.

Multiple eye witnesses confirmed that Clowney was in fact on the team bus and that he will be starting Saturday afternoon’s match up against the Arkansas Razorbacks.

There were some previous concerns about Clowney’s commitment to the team, which fed in perfectly to ESPN’s report. It was likely the fueling power to say that he was not with the team, but he will be suiting up and giving it his all this weekend in the SEC match up against the Razorbacks.

Clowney has been in the center of plenty of controversy this season, but this latest report was nothing to get concerned about.

He will be putting on the pads and taking the field to help the Gamecocks defense and make the impact on the opposing offensive game plan that he has consistently done throughout the year.
