While the Red River Rivalry in Dallas will get all the headlines and attention, another Big 12 game is going on in the DFW metroplex. The Kansas Jayhawks travel to Ft. Worth to take on TCU.

Both teams are coming into this game looking for their first Big 12 win of the year. Kansas has an overall record of 2-2 while TCU has a record of 2-3. TCU’s two losses came against a LSU to open the season, and in Lubbock to the undefeated Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Date: Saturday, October 12

Location: Ft. Worth, TX
Stadium: Amon Carter Stadium
TV Info: FOX Sports 1
Live Stream: None

TCU got some bad news this week when they found out that defensive end Devonte Fields was done for the hear. He is having surgery on his injured foot.

It is a big loss for the Horned Frogs, Fields won the AP’s Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2012. He will seek a medical redshirt to preserve his eligibility. It doesn’t seem like he will have a problem getting one given how little he has played this year.
