Todd Gurley will not play vs. Missouri

When the Georgia Bulldogs take the field this week against the Missouri Tigers in an SEC match up, they will be looking to stay in the national title picture without many of their top offensive threats. We already know about the absences in the secondary, but the Bulldogs have now confirmed that star running back Todd Gurley will not be suiting up for today’s game as he continues to deal with a left ankle injury.

From Seth Emerson of The Macon Telegraph and Columbus Ledger-Enquirer:

Missouri is undefeated and could provide a serious threat to the Bulldogs quest to SEC and national title gold, but they should still be able to find playmakers to step up and fill the void that has been created by their recent losses.

Georgia will look to get past this week’s game without any setbacks, before turning their attention to next weekend’s game vs. Vanderbilt.
