VA Tech’s Kyshoen Jarrett lays out Pitt’s Devin Street (Video)

This is one of the early leaders for hit of the week. Pittsburgh Panthers wide reciever Devin Street was headed deep down the sideline for a reception. He hauled in the pass around the 15 yard line and juggled it a bit. As he fought to get it under control, Virginia Tech Hokies safety Kyshoen Jarrett came across the field and laid an absolutely devastating hit on Street,

Street dropped the ball but it was ruled down by contact and not a fumble. He laid on the ground for a bit at one point sitting up but seeming like he was completely out of it.

It was incredible hit and it looked legal to me. It looked like he got him with the shoulder and that it wasn’t a head to head hit.

Its only competition might be this huge hit on Texas Longhorns quarterback Case McCoy. McCoy was ok and fine after his game. We hope that Devin Street is ok and not suffering from any serious injuries.
