Whether you are a linesman, working the down markers or serving as a sideline photographer, you are never safe when it comes to an NFL game and one photographer at the Baltimore Ravens match up against the Green Bay Packers found that out the hard way on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Ravens official Twitter account, photographer Phil Hoffman suffered a torn Achilles during the game today. However, he was able to tough it out and returned to the game to finish the job in a walking boot.

From the Ravens account:

Ravens wide receiver Tandon Doss delivered the devastating blow when he went flying out of bounds directly into Hoffman’s leg. Hoffman tried to brace for impact, but that is ultimately what led to his foot being in position to be injured.
