After the Clemson Tigers defeated Boston College on Saturday night, Heisman Trophy candidate and quarterback Tajh Boyd was trying to do a simple post-game interview. The fans had rushed the field and were crowding behind Boyd during his interview and being loud and generally obnoxious.
Boyd had enough of it and turned around and hushed the fans and they immediately fell in line and quieted down. That is some power.
It reminds me of the Kanye West lyric, “no one man should have all that power.” It actually reminded me of comedian DeRay Davis saying it to a heckler.
#Clemson fans scared to death and shut up immediately when Tajh Boyd shushed them during postgame ABC interview. Now that’s a leader

Haha, Boyd telling the fans behind him to be quiet. Which begs the question, why are they there in the first place? — Corey Dowlar/ESPN (@cdowlar) October 12, 2013
Many fans pointed out that it was tradition.
Yes, Clemson fans. I know you storm the field after wins. Doesn’t mean it is OK. Running down the hill is very awesome. Fans on field, nope.
