Danny Amendola gets knocked out cold (GIF)

New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is no stranger to suffering injuries and another one came on Sunday evening against the New Orleans Saints.
As Amendola was making his way to the sidelines, he took a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit, his body immediately went limp as he crumbled to the ground.
It appeared clear that Amendola was knocked out cold before he even hit the ground, as his arms laid limp beside him and the medical staff immediately came rushing to his side.
After getting his attention and welcoming Amendola back to consciousness, he struggled to get to his feet and was wobbly as the training staff took his helmet and helped him to the locker room.
There was no official word on the injury, but it doesn’t take a doctor to realize Amendola will be evaluated for a concussion. Shortly after heading to the locker room, the Patriots announced that Amendola would not return.
