The Dallas Cowboys are hosting the Washington Redskins as they look to bounce back from an emotional defeat to the Denver Broncos last Sunday. The Cowboys need the win to get back to .500 and stay atop the NFC East division.

Beating the Cowboys would be a start for the turn around to the Redskins season. After winning the NFC East title a year ago, the Redskins season got off to less than a desirable start. The news that quarterback Robert Griffin III would be ready for the start of the season gave them hope, but they’ve crept to a 1-3 start.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo shouldered the blame for the loss to the Denver Broncos. Defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin says he deserves the blame, middle linebacker Sean Lee echoed his statements and said the defense needed to step up.

“The fact that we weren’t able to win when the offense scored 48 points is absolutely unacceptable,” linebacker Sean Lee said. “Right now, we’re not a good defense. Two weeks in a row, we’ve given up way too many points and way too many yards. Until we get better, we’re not going to win.

This will be a good match up between two divisional rivals looking to turn their season around.
