As the Chicago Bears prepare to take on the Washington Redskins on Sunday, key injuries on this roster are going to be looked at closely.

Charles Tillman who sat out Thursday’s game against the New York Giants, could be eased into practice later this week but sat out today. A big piece of this offense in Martellus Bennett also sat out of practice today.

Just like Tillman, Bennett is dealing with a knee problem. Right now Bennett is on pace to shatter his career high in receiving yards after having 350 already by Week 7. His career high currently stands at 626, which he picked up as a member of the New York Giants last season.

He’s also two touchdowns away from tying his career high in that category as well, a mark he also set with the Giants. Bennett played well against his former team as he brought in six receptions for nearly 70 yards and even converted on a huge 16 yard first down late in the game.

Bennett should be able to go against the Washington Redskins, but we’ll find out more about him and Tillman as the week goes on.
