I’m guessing if you’re a member of the Los Angeles Lakers and you didn’t partake in the whole ‘tobaggan’ craze at the Great Wall of China by now, you’re too late.
With the Lakers in Beijing for an exhibition against the Golden State Warriors, members of the team decided to play tourist for a bit which involved tobagganing down a concrete track. Sounds fun, right?
Also apparently pretty dangerous.
Lakers center Chris Kaman already found that out the hard way after he was crashed into by teammate Shawne Williams, which resulted in Kaman losing sensation in his finger for over an hour. Not to be outdone though was Nick Young, or as he likes to refer to himself, ‘Swaggy P’.
Young, following in Kaman’s footsteps decided to get his toboggan on though unlike Kaman, he decided to record the festivities. Good thing too, because about three seconds into the ride, Young takes quite a nasty spill – all of it captured on camera.
I’m guessing the whole ‘ride the toboggan’ fun was nixed not long after.
