Report: Timberwolves also interested in Bulls' Marquis Teague

Marquis Teague was involved in a trade rumor regarding the Utah Jazz, and it seems as if he may be a wanted man by many teams. The Timberwolves moved Alexey Shved to shooting guard full time now, so that means they are looking for a backup for Ricky Rubio. According to the Chicago Tribune, the Wolves have also expressed interest in the second year guard, and that may mean that the Bulls are calling teams, rather than teams calling them.

Teague is a guy who can run the floor well, and had some moments in last year’s playoffs, but he struggled to get playing time in Chicago. That says something about Teague, as Derrick Rose was out, and the minutes were there for him. Tom Thibodeau must not think he can get much out of him, so they are looking to move Teague. It isn’t known what they are seeking back for his services, but Chicago can always use guys who can defend and spread the floor.
