Tennessee Titans ‘optimistic’ about Moise Fokou’s injury
By Josh Sanchez
Tennessee Titans starting linebacker Moise Fokou left yesterday’s game against the Seattle Seahwaks with a knee injury, but it looks like the team may have dodged a bullet and the injury may have looked much worse than it actually was.
Like many other of the injured players following Week 6, Fokou will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the full extent of the injury. As far as the Titans are concerned, they are optimistic about what the results will show.
From Alex Marvez of FOX Sports:
Fokou is crucial to keeping the Titans defense performing at an acceptable level, so they hope that he will be able to return to the line up sooner rather than later.
As for the offensive side of the ball, the team really needs Chris Johnson to step up and return to the CJ2k of old to ensure the defense’s play doesn’t go to waste.
