Just four outs away from taking a 2-0 series lead with Justin Verlander on the mound for Game 3, the Detroit Tigers were looking at a near dream scenario.

But David Ortiz and the Boston Red Sox weren’t willing to go down without a miracle comeback, resulting in a 1-1 series tie.

Both managers hinted at some lineup changes come Game 3 and we have them, which includes Andy Dirks getting a start for the Tigers. However, Red Sox skipper John Farrell must have had a change of heart as he opted to go with Jarrod Saltalamacchia behind the dish instead of David Ross, who was originally scheduled to start.
