Cowboys defender hopes to face Nick Foles and not Vick

The Dallas Cowboys have a big match up coming in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles, and there is no official word on who will step out with the first team offense. While Nick Foles looked good in his start last week, Cowboys defensive tackle Jason Hatcher believes the team will have an easier time beating Philadelphia if Foles starts over Vick.

“I would like to see Foles,” Hatcher said, via the Dallas Morning News. “Vick is like a rabbit. He’s all over the place. Foles is more like a stationary guy in the pocket. Both of them are awesome quarterbacks. Foles is playing his butt off these last couple of games. Either one, but I would take Foles over Vick.”

The Cowboys will be without star pass rusher DeMarcus Ware, so it makes sense that they would prefer the less mobile quarterback, but you better be careful what you wish for because Foles has the ability to beat you with his arm.

Either way, the game is set up to be one of the most important games in the first half of the season in the NFC East.

If the Boyz had a good shadow linebacker, then Vick would be the one I’d like to see. A few hard hits and Vick would float passes all over the place for our secondary to pick him off. Now if the D-Line gets after Foles the way they got after RG Used To Be, then Dallas will be in first place all alone at the 1/3 mark.
