1. Joseph Randle-RB-Dallas Cowboys (1.4%)

After being a healthy scratch in the regular season opener, Randle now looks like he’ll get the starting nod and bulk of the workload out of the Dallas backfield with injuries to DeMarco Murray and Lance Dunbar. Dunbar could be active if he can overcome his hamstring issue, but even if he is Randle will get most of the work.

This week in late mop-up duty against Washington he finished with 17 yards on 11 carries and 15 yards on a pair of receptions while finding the endzone for the first time in his NFL career. In fact, before this week’s Sunday Night Football game, Randle had a career total of zero carries for zero yards and zero catches for zero yards.

His lack of experience and questionable job security make him a high-risk pickup, but it’s so rare that a true number 1 running back option in a good offense becomes available that you have to make the move if you’re in the number one waiver spot. Randle is a flier RB2 this week against the Eagles defense which has been very beatable this season.
