The USC Trojans enjoyed a huge victory last Thursday night against the Arizona Wildcats, a win that this team desperately needed after what has been a season of turmoil. It was a huge emotional boost, no doubt about it and you could even tell by the way the players were responding on the field.
Some, if not most, of that as well maybe had to do with it being interim head coach Ed Orgeron’s first game at the helm. Let’s face it, Lane Kiffin was never going to be mistaken for someone among the best motivational speakers in the world.
He’s definitely no, you know, Ray Lewis.
Yes, as many teams have done before, Orgeron enlisted the services of the former Ravens Pro Bowl linebacker and Miami Hurricane to help get a little more pep in the step of the players as they get set to take on rival Notre Dame on the road this Saturday night.
And, once again, Lewis did not disappoint and the Trojans should be more than ready to go come game time Saturday.
