‘Sleepy Hollow’ Gets Delay From the World Series

Last night’s episode of Sleepy Hollow definitely did not disappoint fans of the new hit series. If nothing else, it renewed our love of the series. However, thanks to the start of Major League Baseball’s World Series, we will have to wait a little bit until we get a new episode.

It would seem like a heck of a missed opportunity to not have an episode during the week of Halloween for a show based in the supernatural, but unfortunately, when it comes to the playoffs it would seem like there are sacrifices to be made.

Once the NLCS and ALCS finish up, the post season will reach its pinnacle and Fox will become center stage to the biggest series in Major League Baseball. Unfortunately, this means that all original programming will sit the bench while the World Series plays out.

When Sleepy Hollow does return to our televisions, we will be faced with the return of the Headless Horseman, otherwise known as the Horseman of Death.

At the end of this week’s episode, you saw as the Horseman’s white steed waiting at the edge of the lake. As the water ripples, we see the Headless Horseman arise from the lake. He brandished his axe as he rode his steed out of Witch’s Spring Trail, leaving embers in his path.

What kind of horror does he plan to unleash on the people of Sleepy Hollow? Unfortunately, we will have to wait three more weeks to find out.

Sleepy Hollow returns on Monday, November 4that 9:00 p.m. on Fox.
