USA and Canada women's hockey teams engage in brawl (Video)

As we prepare for the 2014 Sochi Olympics, teams and athletes are going through exhibition matches and competitions to ensure they are ready to go when the bright lights are on. For the USA and Canadian women’s hockey teams, that meant a match in Burlington, Vermont that caught the attention of everyone who has not previously paid any attention to women’s hockey.

With a few minutes remaining in Canada’s 3-2 win over Team USA, a fight broke out that drew plenty of buzz from around the Internet.

For an encore, the two teams decided to throw it down once again with just a few seconds remaining in the game.

Team USA forward Monique Lamoureux sparked the altercation when she bumped in to Canada’s netminder Shannon Szabados. After that, it was complete mayhem.

If you like what you see in the fight videos, which will be posted below, you should enjoy the fact that the two sides will meet five more times leading up to the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. All of a sudden, women’s hockey became must-see TV.
