Last Saturday, the Wisconsin Badgers gained themselves a huge momentum boost when they thoroughly handed down a beating to the Northwestern Wildcats at home inside Camp Randall Stadium, 35-6.
The Badgers dominated in virtually every facet of the game and, although they’ve lost to them already, solidified themselves as the clear number two in the Big Ten behind the Ohio State Buckeyes.
By the time the fourth quarter started, the Badgers were up 28-6 on Northwestern and just needed to coast their way through the fourth quarter to get the victory, which they ultimately did.
Now, mentioning the score at the beginning of the fourth quarter is noteworthy, because this is where the entire stadium partakes in the ritual of jumping around to the tune of–well, what else, House of Pain’s ‘Jump Around’.
It truly is one of the coolest sights in all of college football, and is usually done with a lot more enthusiasm when the Badgers are up in a big way, as they were on Saturday.
And now, when I say everyone in the stadium joins in, I do mean everyone, which also includes head basketball coach Bo Ryan who decided to get in on the festivities with the students:
