We all know Chicago Bears starting quarterback Jay Cutler first entered the league with the Denver Broncos back in the 2006 draft with the Denver Broncos.

Another current Chicago Bear in Brandon Marshall was also a part of that draft class. Their head coach at the time in Denver? Current Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan.

Shanahan was questioned today by the media and of course the topic of discussion was this weekends opponent who happen to be the Chicago Bears.

Of course being the former head coach of two big offensive play makers on this Chicago Bears offense has to make him proud as he commented on both Cutler and Marshall.

First thing he said about Cutler was that he was a big fan of his and says he’s playing this season the way he played for him back in Denver. Cutler is having an amazing season so far and has the most passing yards by a Bears quarterback in the first six games in franchise history with 1,630 yards.
