North Carolina to wear all-black uniforms vs. Miami (Photo)

The North Carolina Tar Heels have been putting together some of the most impressive uniform combinations in college football, so it’s not a surprise that they will try to make a big statement on Thursday night when they meet the No. 10 ranked Miami Hurricanes in Week 8 of the college football season.

The uniforms have been dubbed ”Zero Dark Thursday,” and they feature an all-black look with their traditional baby blue highlights.

You can see the color combination used in the photo above, but this time North Carolina will be flipping the colors to give what they hope is an intimidating look.

It’s a great look for the Tar Heels, but we all know that uniforms don’t help you out on the field.

The good news is that quarterback Bryn Renner will be starting for the Tar Heels, so they will have their top signal-caller as they look to pull off the upset.
