Adrian Peterson missed Wednesday practice

Adrian Peterson played in the Minnesota Vikings game against the Detroit Lions in Week 6 despite news earlier in the weekend that his two-year-old son had passed away after an alleged abuse from the boyfriend of the child’s mother, but he was once again absent from the team on Wednesday.
Peterson missed the Vikings practice due to personal reasons, but head coach Leslie Frazier would not comment on whether or not the issue was related to the previous matter.
The good news is that Frazier said he would speak with Peterson and that he expected him back in practice on Thursday.
“He and I will talk later today, but I expect him to be back tomorrow, ready to go,” Frazier said, via ESPN. “This is a very difficult situation, without question and it has many challenges, many challenges.”
Last week, Peterson had 10 carries for 62 yards and three catches for 21 yards.
This week, he will hope to bounce back in a much bigger way.
