Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson was once again limited in practice today, marking the second-straight day the All-Pro receiver was unable to fully participate. But that doesn’t mean he’s not making significant progress from his knee injury that held him out in Week 5, and severely limited him in Week 6 in a win over the Cleveland Browns.

Per Detroit News:

"Signs continue to point toward Calvin Johnson being closer to full strength. After being a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Johnson was back on the practice field Thursday and, significantly, he was running with first team offense during the early skeleton drills – something he wasn’t doing at all last week.Johnson, who will address the media later today, is fighting through right knee soreness."

Even if Johnson isn’t 100%, his presence on the field is something no defensive coordinator will ignore, and just last week, the Browns’ focus on shutting him down led to rookie tight end Joseph Fauria catching three touchdowns.
