Lady Gaga and Muppets collaborate on Holiday Special

Lady Gaga kisses her date to the VMAs, Kermit the Frog, good night

The odd and enigmatic pop superstar Lady Gaga has teamed up with the Muppets to create a holiday special. Yeah, Lady Gaga and the Muppets are teaming up for a holiday special, you read that right.

The show has apparently already been taped in Los Angeles and will air on ABC according to E! News. Lady Gaga is no stranger to the Muppets and Holiday specials. In 2011 she starred in, and directed, “A Very Gaga Thanksgiving” for ABC. At the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards she brought Kermit the Frog as a date.

What is especially odd about this Muppet/Gaga relationship is that she has even “worn” Kermit the Frog. I don’t mean in that stupid red carpet, ‘who are you wearing?’ ‘oh I’m wearing Vera Wang’ kind of way. I mean, she literally wore Kermit the Frog.

Think about all the kids that will be traumatized by this. Could you imagine a bunch of kids running to their computers or iPads to Google ‘Lady Gaga and Kermit the Frog’ and they see nothing but pictures of her wearing Kermit as a dress?

What if she goes with one of her other famous outfits, say like the ‘whatever this red dress is‘ or the ‘lobster on her head one‘ or the ‘meat dress?’ Well, actually, that might not be so bad. At least she would have brought dinner.

This certainly is going to be an odd, odd, holiday special. I doubt it will be one of the classics kids are watching 50 years from now. At this point why don’t they invite Ke$ha along so that they can all inspect her private body parts for ghosts.
