Oregon Ducks to wear pink helmets on Saturday

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, as you may have noticed by all of the pink that has been making it’s way onto the NFL field. However, on Saturday, the Oregon Ducks and Nike will be bringing pink to the college football world with some new pink helmets, socks, cleats and gloves for the Ducks when they take on Washington State.

It will be the first time in the school’s history that they have worn pink with their variety of uniform combinations.

On Thursday morning, Nike released an image of the uniforms that Oregon will wear:

“Cancer has touched so many lives and hopefully, together with Nike and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, we can help create awareness and help raise money for the fight against women’s cancers,” said Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich in the official statement. “It is an honor to join coach Yow’s team in a fight that unites us all.”

The helmets will be used to help to raise money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

It’s a great gesture by Nike and Oregon, and we can’t wait to see how this looks out on the field.

Oregon uniforms are the best in the NCAA hands down. The designer of those uniforms entice kids to go to the school because they like the uniforms. Never seen any better.
