The Jacksonville Jaguars top two wide receivers, Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts, have missed practice due to injuries this week, but they both seem fairly confident that they will be available in Week 7 against the San Diego Chargers.

Blackmon first told reporters that he was going to play on Sunday despite being listed as questionable, and Shorts has echoed those sentiments by making it clear that he plans to join the team on the field.

From Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union:

Shorts is dealing with a sprained sternoclavicular joint that was expected to keep him sidelined for up to three weeks.

If Shorts is able to go along with Blackmon, then the Jaguars will have a very favorable match up against a week Chargers defensive backfield.

Keep an eye on both Jaguars wide receivers as we approach Sunday’s kickoff.
