Dannell Ellerbe has been one of the top free agent acquisitions from the Miami Dolphins spending spree this offseason, but a shoulder injury continues to hold him out of action with his latest absence coming at Friday’s practice.
After his latest absence, Ellerbe is not expected to suit up this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
From Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald:
Good news: Cam Wake practiced without a brace. He’s looking good to go. Bad news: Dannell Ellerbe didn’t practice at all. He’s prob out.

Without Ellerbe in the line up, look for Jason Trusnik to draw the start at middle linebacker.
The Dolphins started off as one of the top teams in the league, but they have begun to slide and are no longer considered one of the top teams in the league.
What they need to do is put together a good performance on Sunday against the Bills to keep pace in the AFC and begin their climb back to the top of the NFL landscape.
