Hanley Ramirez is in tonight’s lineup against the St. Louis Cardinals

With Game 6 of the National League Championship underway, the Los Angeles Dodgers do in fact have shortstop Hanley Ramirez in the lineup.

It looked as if Ramirez wasn’t going to be able to play today as he’ clearly not 100 percent after suffering a fractured rib, but he’s proving to everybody right now just how bad he wants to win this series.

The Dodgers are currently facing elimination as they look to force Game 7 against the Cardinals in St. Louis.

Right now Ramirez has to have all the respect in the world right now by not only his teammates but his opponents. How many players have we seen play professional baseball with a fractured rib? I know there’s been a couple, but not that many have been accounted for.

Ramirez hasn’t batted yet in the game as it is currently in the bottom of the first inning. All eyes should be on Ramirez whenever he approaches the on deck circle, steps into the batters box or looks to make a defensive play.

It’s a little late right now, but here’s a Tweet that was send out by David Vassegh on Twitter showing the Dodgers complete lineup.
