The Tennessee Titans have dropped wide receiver Kenny Britt down the depth chart after some dropped passes in the September. The Titans only had Kenny Britt on the field for 2 snaps against the Seattle Seahawks and that has teams calling about his availability regarding a trade.

“Obviously, anything can happen,” Munchak said, via the Tennessean. “But he needs to help us win games, and hopefully that will be this weekend.”

Munchak said he was proud of how Britt handled the demotion.

“Kenny has handled a tough situation very well, and I’m proud of him for that,’’ Munchak said. “It is not easy, and it is frustrating for him, I’m sure. I am sure he is hearing it from a lot of people. I know his expectations are so high. But he is handling himself really well.”

Britt has only caught 7 passes for 59 yards, both considerably lower than his career norms. He’ll face a tough task playing against the 49ers and their stingy pass defense. The 49ers are allowing only 206.3 yards per game. Having Jake Locker back could help as well.
