Hazing, love it or hate it, is part of sports at all levels. And while sometimes it goes way too far, often times it’s harmless, especially at the professional level where veterans zero in on the rookies.

Most times though, the hazing (outside of maybe donuts/bagels and coffee runs) comes towards the end of the season.

In past years, we’ve seen a handful of funny moments, say like members of the Sacramento Kings getting their luxury cars, complete with leather seats, get filled with buttery popcorn on a warm California day but the Utah Jazz decided to go for a less expensive approach.

A $2 dollar bottle of glittery, pink nail polish.

After posting a picture on his Instagram account, Utah Jazz rookie Rudy Gobert and Ian Clark (without saying it) hinted that veterans on the team made them paint their nails pink for a recent practice and game.

If that’s what happens during the preseason, I’m not sure I want to see what’s going to happen come the end of the year.
