No. 20 Washington vs Arizona State: Time for one team to prove something

#20 Washington (4-2, 1-2 Pac-12) at Arizona State (4-2, 2-1 Pac-12)    6 pm EST, Pac-12 Network

Both of these teams were flying so high a few weeks ago, but a match up that could’ve been premier has kind of fallen off to the back burner with losses by both.

For Washington, the opportunity was right there the last two weeks. Coming up short in Palo Alto was a painful pill to swallow, but even worse was coming home and getting squashed in the second half with Game Day in town.

The Huskies are trying to halt their normal mid-season swoon under the Sark.

Arizona State is in the very same boat. The Sun Devils got creamed in Palo Alto and then disappointingly got mauled in Dallas when they took on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Shamrock Series game. Sure they smashed Colorado last week, but that was… well, Colorado.

This is a team that most Devil’s fans thought was going to be elite, but their road issues from the past several years don’t seem to have disappeared. Good thing this one’s at home.

It’s time for either team to prove something Saturday.
