ESPN College GameDay traveled to South Carolina for the match up between No. 5 Florida State Seminoles and No. 3 Clemson Tigers. This might be the most epic headgear pick Lee Corso has ever made on the ESPN College GameDay set. First of all, Bill Murray was the celebrity guest picker. If that wasn’t enough to make this awesome, don’t worry it gets better.
Bill Murray played to the home crowd and picked Clemson as team that will win. Lee Corso had disappeared from the set, and there was a patch of grass with the Clemson logo in front of the desk. After Murray’s pick Corso, dressed as the Seminole mascot made his way to the stage, spear in hand. He was going to stab the spear into the grass and the Clemson logo, but Bill Murray wasn’t having any of it.
He met Corso at the grass and stopped him, wrestling him to the ground and pretending to beat him up. At one point he took the spear and threw it off the set. No one was injured I think.
Nevertheless it was pretty entertaining, and might definitely be the headgear pick of the year so far. On a side note, Corso picked against Clemson in the first week of the season as well.
