Bill Parcells is one happy man thanks to a race horse. During a race on Saturday afternoon at Belmont Park in New York, a horse owned by the Hall of Famer was the winner in a $250,000 race.

The race was the Empire Classic Handicap for New York-bred horses and Parcells’ horse was able to run away from the rest of the field.

The win for the horse, Saratoga Snacks, was the seventh in ten attempts.

It looks like Parcells certainly has a winner on his hands, and we know that he has some experience being at the top — also plenty of experience with snacks, so this seems like a win-win situation.

For Saratoga Snacks, the career earnings currently stand at $464,600. That’s quite the investment.

Parcells is hoping that winning is a strong family trait, because he purchased the one-year-old brother of Saratoga Snacks for just over $100,000 this past summer. If that can pay off in a way that Saratoga Snacks has, then Parcells has himself a nice little stable of horses. It’s only a matter of time until he brings in more.
