According to reports, Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge will miss tomorrow’s game due to lingering pain in his left knee.
Aldridge, considered by most to be one of the league’s top talents, missed practice earlier this week with pain in the knee, and also sat out of last night’s preseason action with the same ailment. With the season less than two weeks away, it appears that the coaching staff is being careful with the franchise cornerstone.
The pain began during Wednesday’s exhibition win at Utah, but an MRI did not reveal any damage, which allowed fans to breathe a sigh of relief. The team had been riddled with injuries early in the preseason.
