The No. 22 Florida Gators entered this match up against No. 14 Missouri as the favorites. They’re losing early in the game but have plenty of time to make it up.
During a play late in the first quarter, the Florida Gator offense called an interesting play. It was a shotgun formation on 2nd and 9, they had a running back in the back field as well. When the ball was snapped it looked like the Florida offensive line took a step back before they all went low to block the Missouri defensive front. Florida quarterback Tyler Murphy quickly got rid of the ball and a short curl route.
This kind of choreography had to be planned to get everyone to do it. It looks like it was an attempt to lower the Tigers defensive line so that Murphy could throw a quick hard pass to the receiver.
