The Phoenix Suns aren’t likely to be a very good team this season, though if they’re without starting point guard Goran Dragic for any extended stretches, things could get even uglier.
Dragic, who believes he was stepped on by Jimmer Fredette during the Suns Thursday night loss to the Sacramento Kings suffered what the team is calling a ‘mild to moderate’ ankle sprain.
However, given the amount of ankle sprains that Goran has dealt with in his career, the Suns are rightfully showing more concern regarding Dragic’s injury.
The young point guard was back at Suns practice today, though, was unable to participate on the floor and only rode a stationary bike:
Dragic is in gear for today’s
#Suns practice but he isn’t playing after spraining his ankle Thursday. He did bike work and is progressing.
Sprained ankles are no walk in the park, especially for a player who seemingly is addicted to them like Dragic.
With a week and a half until the Suns open up their regular season, the team is hopeful Dragic will not miss any time.
