In a somewhat shocking announcement, the Tennessee Titans are expecting quarterback Jake Locker to be the Week 7 starter against the San Francisco 49ers. It was just three weeks ago on Sunday that Locker was carted off of the field with what appeared to be a devastating hip injury, but he is already feeling good to go and should be the No. 1 signal-caller on this weekend.

From Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network:

Locker must have made some incredible progress over the past few weeks in order to get back to game shape, but he has also been incredibly motivated to do so since the moment he was injured.

The Titans were off to a good start to the season and Locker was having the best year of his career, so it will be interesting to see if he can pick up right where he left off when he returns to the field in just over 24 hours.
