Kobe Bryant changes Twitter avatar to '1225', causing mass confusion

Apparently, Kobe Bryant has a lot of time on his hands while rehabbing because he seemingly is getting a kick out of messing with people.

A few weeks ago, the Los Angeles Lakers star changed his profile picture on Twitter to a grizzly bear and today, decided to randomly change it to a picture of the numeral, 1225.

So what could this mean? Well, a few things.

A few days ago, ESPN ranked Bryant as the #25 player in the NBA, obviously a rating that wouldn’t have sat well with Bryant who has been more than vocal about other sub-par rankings in the past. So could he be sending a message about that? But what about the #12? Well, that’s actually where Bryant was ranked last season, so it seems to make some sense.

Outside of the ESPN ranking, the 1225 number could also be referring to a return date as the numeral just happens to coincide with December 25th, you know, the day the Lakers play the Miami Heat in Los Angeles on Christmas Day.

Either way, Bryant obviously put up the random number with a reasoning behind it – why exactly though, still remains a mystery.
