The Missouri Tigers are surviving the loss of quarterback James Franklin so far, mostly due to Florida not being able to move the ball.

Freshman QB Maty Mauk isn’t playing outstanding, but he did throw a bomb and an early touchdown on the first drive of the game to give Mizzou a quick lead. Mauk has thrown 10 of 23 for 138 yards (most on that first drive), a touchdown and an interception. Since then the Tigers have tacked on a couple of field goals.

Florida looks pretty incompetent for the second week in a row, after scoring only 6 points at LSU, they’ve scored only 3 in this one so far. Tyler Murphy is only 7 of 12 for 52 yards and an interception. It also looks like their running back situation is not good. No running back has gone over 20 yards yet in the game.

Missouri is still undefeated on the season and looking to go 7-0, 3-0 in the conference. Florida is looking to get back on track after the loss at LSU, if they could come back it would give them their 5th win on the season.
