The New York Giants are clearly struggling this season.
They’re fighting to find their first victory of the year and could possibly do so against the Minnesota Vikings. Right now Minnesota would be their best chance to pick up win number one, as they’ve bounced back and forth the last couple weeks with their starting quarterback.
Running back Brandon Jacobs is coming off a 100 yard rushing game against the Chicago Bears. This was his first 100 yard rushing game since the 2011 season. Jacobs was held out of practice today as the team prepares for their Monday night showdown against the Vikings.
Jacobs is currently battling a hamstring issue and was limited during Thursday and Friday’s practice. It could very well be possible he’s dealing with a minor set back and could be a game time decision come Monday.
With Jacobs being listed as questionable, defensive back Corey Webster is listed as probable.
Webster has missed the last four games with a strained (ouch) groin. This team is in desperate need of an upgrade as they are currently ranked 20th in the league against the pass.
CB Corey Webster (groin) is probable. #nyg
